It's Your Day!

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

I started ny dusting a piece of Heat Emboss Acetate with an Anti-Static Bag. I stamped the image and the sentiment from the Woodware Five in a Row Stamp Set using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS True White Detail Embossing Powder. Working on the back, I started to colour in. I used a mix of Pixie Powder and CS Clear Varnish Lacquer. I used Golden Mint, Burnt Orange, Plum Twist and Mango Blaze. I added CS Frosty Dawn Diamond Frost to the Mango Blaze Sections. I managed to colour it all in one session as I was pushed for time but I would not usuall do this - I would wait for each section to dry before doing the next. Also, make sure you put it to dry on a level surface - mine wasn't quite level and the Burnt Orange and Mango Blaze sections merged a little but I'm ok with that.

I made a frame out of Coconut White Card using Sue Wilson's Double Piereced Rectangles and Double Pierced Rectangles Set B. Once my image was dry, I added my frame using 2mm 3D Foam Tape.

I embossed a piece of Coconut White Card with the Creative Expressions Raindrops 8 x 8 Embossing Folder. I added my framed piece using 1mm 3D Foam Tape.

I completed my card by matting onto a couple of pieces of Coconut White Card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Always try to Love

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I used Natural Sponges to add CS Chalk Clouds in Toasted Rose, Blue Lagoon and Sweet Violet over a piece of Coconut White Card. I cut it our using a die from Sue Wilson's Essential Rectangles DieSet and inked around the edges with Toasted Rose Chalk Cloud using a Smoothie.

I stamped the sentiment from the Woodware Vintage Inspiration Stamp Set using Onyx Black Versafine Ink.

I matted onto Black Card and popped onto a Coconut White Card blank.

I added Toasted Rose Chalk Cloud onto a Pop-em from the Arty Hearts Set by pouncing the ink onto it using a Smoothie. Once dry, I added Sweet Violet Chalk Cloud, pouncing through a section of the Celtic Vine Mask using a Smoothie. I made some flowers out of Coconut White Card using Sue's Sweet Williams Die Set, adding a little Toasted Rose and Sweet Violet Chalk Cloud.

I completed my card by adding some White Pearls to the centres of my flowers and to each corner of my background.

Thanks for stopping by.

Congrats

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Spellbinders Platinum Machine with the Creative Expressions Floral Stripes Embossing Folder. I needed to run the card through with the folder a second time to extend the design as the stripes would have been going across the card which I did not want on this occasion. I matted onto another piece of Coconut White Card, then Midnight Blue Pearl Card and then Coconut White Card.

I cut the outer die of one of the corner dies from Sue Wilson's Indonesian Border and Corners Die Set out of Midnight Blue Card four times. I both dies from the same corner set out of Coconut White Card 4 times and glued the pieces together. I added a 5mm White Pearl to each of the corner pieces.

I cut die #4 from Sue's Bali Die Set out of Midnight Blue Pearl Card. I cut dies #3 and #4 together from the same set out of Coconut White Card. I glued the 2 die cuts together. I cut die #2 from the same setout of Coconut White Card. I dusted with an Anti-Static Bag and stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Petite Lavish Sentiments Stamp Set using Clear Perfect Medium. I added CS Denim Brilliant Sparkle Embossing Powder and heat set.

I chose one of the handbags from Sue's Vintage Handbags Die Set. I cut the outside die out of Midnight Blue Pearl Card and both the dies out of Coconut White Card. I did not put a handle on this one. I added 3mm White Pearls to the cross sections on the design and a 5mm White Pearl to the centre of the flower design on the handbag.

The brand new Christmas release of Woodware Stamps were launched yesterday. I've ordered them already and I expect they'll be delivered tomorrow. You can see/order them here in the Christmas Section of my website. There's some lovely designs in there.

Inspire

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

The background on this one was created by mopping up all the excess ink on my Craft Sheet from previous Chalk Cloud projects onto a piece of Coconut White Card. I used the main colours on my background for my stamping and embellishments. I trimmed my background piece and inked around the edges with Toasted Rose CS Chalk Cloud using a Smoothie. I matted onto Black Card and then onto Coconut White Card.

I stamped the Woodware Vintage Fabric Stamp onto Coconut White Card using Blue Lagoon Chalk Cloud applying the ink to the stamp via a Smoothie. I tore around the edges and then inked with Sweet Apple Chalk Cloud.

I stamped the eye from the Woodware Eyes Stamp Set using Toasted Rose Chalk Cloud.

I stamped the INSPIRE test from the Woodware Vintage Inspiration Stamp Set, again using Toasted Rose. I tore around the eye and the sentiment using my Tim Holz Ruler to get a more even tear and then inked around the edges with Sweet Apple. I stamped the 'Always try to' from the Vintage Inspiration Stamp Set using Onyx Black Versafine Ink.

I covered 2 of the flourishes on the Flourishes Pop-ems sheet with a thin coat of White CS Gesso. I popped them out and then covered with Sweet Apple CS Chalk Cloud by pouncing on with my Smoothie to get a good coverage. I inked up the Woodware Crazy Mosaic Background with Toasted Rose Chalk Cloud and stamped onto the flourishes.

I made a couple of flowers out of more of my mopped up ink background and Black Card using Sue Wilson's Succulent Garden and Sweet Williams Die Sets. I added a little Toasted Rose Chalk Cloud to the tips of the petals and a 5mm Black Pearl to the centres.

I completed my card by adding a Small Black Circle Dazzler to each corner of my background.

The winner of the card from Freebie Friday on 23rd June is ..........................

Imagination

Hi Bloggers.

Had a fab day yesterday - see below for the photos of all the statues our group made.

Here's today's card -

This card was created using the little stamps from the same set as yesterday's card. I used a little Coconut White Card blank. I stamped the little stamps from the Woodware Fresh as a Daisy Stamp Set directly onto the front of the card with CS Colour Clouds, applying the ink using Smoothies. I used Decadent Wine, Decadent Denim, Decadent Teal, Decadent Bamboo and Plum Cobbler.

I completed my card by stamping the sentiment from the Woodware Imagine Verse Stamp Set using Onyx Black Versafine Ink.

Had a brilliant day at the workshops yesterday. Here's the pics of the Powertex statues -
