A Heart that Loves

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Smooch Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design.

I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Sweet Hearts Clear Stamp Set using Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. I stamped the frame from the same stamp set around the sentiment, again using Peacock Feathers. I cut out using Spellbinders Lace Hearts. I cut another Spellbinders Lace Hearts out of Teal Card.

I cut 2 corners out of Teal Card using the Spellbinders Lace Hearts Die Set and added a 5mm White Pearl.

I cut a strip of Coconut White Card and stamped the point of the heart frame to form a pattern.

I tied a bow using White Crochet Ribbon. I cut a Spellbinders Decorative Labels One out of Teal Card and added a Medium Heart Dazzler.

I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Teal Sparkle PVA around the edges.

Today is the last chance for bargains in my January Sale in my Amazon Store - details are in this post.

Have a Fabulous Birthday

Hi Bloggers.

The stamps from last Sunday's shows are now back in stock in my Amazon Store. You can see them all in the Singles section here. Also back in stock are the Dazzler Settings and I have a couple of colours of Stickles from recent shows.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I started by randomly inking through the Lattice Mask with Barn Door Distress Ink. With the stamp in my hand, I randomly stamped the Rose Corner with the Barn Door Distress Ink. Then, I randomly stamped the 'wish' sentiment from the Justrite Grateful Hearts Clear Stamp Set, again using Barn Door. I made sure the ink was dry and then ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Exotic Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and inked around the edges with Barn Door.

I stamped the Classic Rose Stem using Jet Black Archival and coloured in using Barn Door and Crushed Olive Distress Markers. I cut out using Spellbinders Pearl Effects and inked through the die with Barn Door.

I stamped the sentiment and the frame from the Justrite Grateful Hearts Stamp Set using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Clear Powder. I cut it out using Justrite Vintage Labels Two Dies and inked through the die with Barn Door.

I tied a bow using Red/Ivory Striped Grosgrain. I added a Dazzler Setting and a Red Dazzler.

I assembled the card as shown adding some White Pearls in the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Berry Sparkle Pearl PVA around the edges.

Kim Robertson has shows today on Create & Craft at 9am and 2pm. Hope you can tune in.

Thanks for stopping by.

You are So Loved

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

The background is a piece of Soft Gold Card run through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Tied Together Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design. I cut a Spellbinders 5 x 7 Elegant Labels 4 out of Milk Card.

I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Ribbon Rose Heart Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and added Cosmic Shimmer Gold Detail Powder. I then stamped the main image over it (having cut the rubber from the centre of the ribbon in the design), added the powder and heat set the lot. I cut it out using Spellbinders Decorative Labels 28.

I tied a bow using Cream Crochet Ribbon. I made a flower using the Heartfelt Creations Sweet Juliet Die Set adding a Gold Brad to the centre.

I assembled the card as shown adding a Cream 8mm Pearl to each corner and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Crystal Sparkle Pearl PVA around the edges.

Love You

Hi Bloggers.

Just before I share today's card, I just wanted to let you know that I have re-ordered the stamps that have sold out from Sunday's shows. Hopefully, they will be here in a couple of days. I've also re-ordered the Dazzler Settings.

Don't forget that there's only a couple of days left to grab yourself a bargain in the sales items in my Amazon Store. For full details, please see this post

Here's today's card -

For the background, I popped my tan mat onto my base plate. I dusted a piece of Coconut White Card with my anti static bag and placed it dusted side up on my tan mat. I inked up the Lattice Mask with Perfect Medium and placed it inked side down on top of the dusted card. I added the pink embossing plate and ran it through the Grand Calibur. The ink transferred to the debossed pattern. I added Cosmic Shimmer Arctic Lake Lustre Embossing Powder tapped off the excess and heat set.

I stamped the Heart & Roses Stamp using Perfect Medium and added Arctic Lake Lustre Powder. I added the sentiment from the Justrite Grateful Hearts Clear Stamp Set and heat set the lot. I cut out using Spellbinders decorative Labels 22 and inked through the die with Faded Jeans Distress Ink.

I made a scrunched up flower using Spellbinders Blossom 5 (sorry I did not get chance to demo this on Sunday). I stamped 2 leaf sprays from the Heartfelt Creations Closed Leaf Stamp Set using Faded Jeans and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut them out using Heartfelt Creations Classic Leaf Die Set.

I assembled the card as shown adding a White 8mm Pearl to each corner and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Crystal Sparkle Pearl PVA around the edges.

Hugs & Kisses

Hi Bloggers.

Today I have shows on Create & Craft at 12noon (2 hours) with Nigel and at 5pm with Dawn. Hope you can join me and perhaps email in.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I stamped the Scroll Corner from the Creative Expressions Scroll Border & Corner Set using Seedless Preserves Distress Ink in the 2 bottom corners. I made sure the ink was dry and then ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Exotic Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time and inked around the edges with Seedless Preserves.

I stamped the Creative Expressions Rose Striplet twice using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Blue Maroon Aurora Embossing Powder (from the Pinks set which is on the show). I cut them both out using scissors and inked around the edges with Seedless Preserves.

The Creative Expressions Ribbon & Rose Heart Stamp Set comes with 2 sentiments. I stamped the Hugs & Kisses sentiment using Perfect Medium and added some Blue Maroon Aurora Embossing Powder (I did not heat set yet). I cut the centre of the ribbon section of my stamp out so that I could see through to position it correctly over the sentiment, stamping with Perfect Medium again. I added the Blue Maroom Aurora and heat set the whole thing. I cut it out using Spellbinders Pearl Effects and inked through the die with Seedless Preserves.

I tied a bow using Cream Crochet Ribbon. I made a flower using the Heartfelt Creations Sweet Juliet Die Set (yes it's back!), with a little felt from the Vintage Felt Pack and a Rhinestone Brad.

I assembled the card as shown adding some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Pearl PVA in Crystal around the edges.

See you later!

Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Bloggers.

Today I will be demonstrating at Domino Crafts in Wolverhampton. If you're in the area, please stop by and say hello.

Here's today's sneak peak -

I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Sweet Hearts Clear Stamp Set using Red Geranium Archival. I cut it out using Heartfelt Creations Timeless Amour and inked through the die with Aged Mahogany. I stamped the heart frame from the same stamp set, again using Red Geranium Archival. I cut it out using Spellbinders Lace Hearts.

I tied a bow using Burgundy/Ivory Striped Grosgrain. I added a Dazzler Setting and a Red Dazzler.

I assembled the card as shown adding some Cream Pearls in the top left-hand corner and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Pearl PVA in Crystal around the edges.

Sneak Peek

Hi Bloggers.

I have a sneak peek from Sunday's shows today. The theme is love with Valentine's Day just around the corner. Lots of the stamps on the show can also be used for Anniveraries, Weddings, Mothers Day and Birthdays.

This is a really easy card to construct. With some pretty dies and a gorgeous stamp your job is done.

The background is a piece of Milk Card run through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Exotic Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design.

I stamped the bike from the Creative Expressions Loves Beautiful Ride using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders 5 x 7 Elegant Labels 4. I cut a Spellbinders Branching Out Die out of Black Card.

I tied a bow using Black/Ivory Striped Grosgrain. I added a Dazzler Setting and a Black Dazzler.

I assembled the card as shown adding some Black Pearls in the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in Black Pearl around the edges.

Thanks for stopping by.

Time to Celebrate

Hi Bloggers.

I had a request to share this card -

For the background, I ran a piece of Coconut White Card through the Grand Calibur with the Couture Creations Happy Birthday Embossing Folder. I ran it through a second time to extend the design and inked around the edges with Scattered Straw Distress Ink.

I had already created a background using the Caught in Crystal Technique. I used Cosmic Shimmer Clear Lacquer Varnish instead of 3d Crystal Lacquer. I used Ginger, Cranberry and Sunset Orange Alcohol Inks, a little Pale Gold Mica Powder from the Cosmic Shimmer Metallics Mica Spray Set and a little Penny Copper Cosmic Shimmer Polished Silk Glitter. I dusted the acetate side of the background with an anti static bag and stamped the Rose Blossom Purse using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I cut around the purse with scissors.

I laid a Spellbinders Gold Square One die inside the largest Spellbinders Fancy Postage Edge die and cut out from Custard Card. I threaded some Champagne Silky Crush through the slits in the die cut. I also tied a bow using 2 lengths of the ribbon and added a Vintage Metal Button.

I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Large Elegant Sentiments Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with the Gold Detail Powder. I cut it out using a Spellbinders 5 x 7 Detailed Scallops Die.

I assembled the card as shown adding some White Pearls to the corners and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA in White around the edges.

Thanks for stopping by.

Blue Skies

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I first inked through the Eyelet Lace Mask with Faded Jeans Distress Ink (not randomly, all over). Then, with the stamp in my hand, I used the top section of the Raindrops on Roses Birthday Stamp and stamped all over the background with Faded Jeans Distress Ink. To add texture, I ran it through the Grand Calibur with the Knitted Mask and then inked around the edges with Faded Jeans.

I stamped the sentiment from the Creative Expressions Natures Sentiments Stamp Set using Perfect Medium and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer True White Detail Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Decorative Labels One and inked through the die with Faded Jeans Distress Ink.

I stamped the Heartfelt Creations Vintage Morning Background using Cobalt Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut all the flowers out using the Heartfelt Creations Majestic Blooms Die. I painted 5 of the flowers with Tropic Blue Mica Powder from the Cosmic Shimmer Garden Flora Mica Spray Set. I shaped them a little and added an 8mm White Pearl to the centres.

I assembled the card as shown adding a Pearl Swirl and some dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pastel PVA in Pastel Blue around the edges.

Thanks for stopping by.

Time is Precious

Hi Bloggers.

This is my favourite card that I have made with the Heartfelt Creations Majestic Collage Stamp -

I stamped the Collage Stamp using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder. I cut it out using Spellbinders Grand Decorative Labels One and inked through the die with Dried Marigold and Victorian Velvet Distress Inks. I coloured the cog and the clock on the background with Pastel Orange and Pastel Pink from the Cosmic Shimmer Pastels Watercolour Paint Set.

I stamped the Heartfelt Creations Vintage Morning Background and Majestic Background onto some papers from the Majestic Blooms Paper Pad using Jet Black Archival and embossed with Clear Powder. I cut them out using the Heartfelt Creations Majestic Blooms Die. I made some flowers and added them to the Collage background. I added some 5mm Cream Pearls to the centre of the flowers.

I cut another Spellbinders Grand Decorative Labels One and inked through the die with Dried Marigold and Victorian Velvet.

I wanted to give you a heads up with some of the new stamps that I have on my shows on Sunday. We have a bit of a love theme going on with Valentine's Day coming up but you could also use some of them for Mother's Day, Weddings and Anniversary.
